Life Groups

Connecting Through “Doing Life Together”

THROUGH THE SHARING OF LIFE IN COMMUNITY AND CHRIST-CENTERED DISCUSSIONS, JUBILEE CHURCH LIFE GROUPS SEEK TO CULTIVATE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS WHO ENGAGE WITH THE WORLD. LIFE GROUPS ARE HELD IN TWO SEMESTERS DURING THE SPRING AND FALL, WITH BREAKS DURING JUNE TO AUGUST AND DECEMBER TO JANUARY. LOOK THROUGH OUR DIFFERENT LIFE GROUPS TO SEE WHERE YOU MIGHT WANT TO JOIN IN.

Single’s Life Group

meeting times: sundays, 12-1.30pm and 4-5.30pm

Singles Life Groups hope to bring single people together into co-ed small group communitie, so we can build each other up to become disciples of Christ. Most of our Singles Groups meet on Sundays at 12:00pm and 4:00pm, and the meetings last for about an hour and a half. Typically, we have a time of Christ-centered discussion and how the Word of God applies practically in our lives, and then a time to share prayer requests and pray for one another. Many groups also have fellowship outside of the regular meetings by going out for meals together, serving together in community outreaches, and even going out and having fun together.

Family Life Group

Meeting times: varies by life group

Family Life Groups bring various families together in our community to become a greater family of God. Whether you are married with children, or a single parent, or married without children, or even a single person hoping to glean experiences from other families so you can have a family of your own one day, Family Life Groups are for the purpose to bring such people together to be able to walk alongside others on a similar life journey. Most of our family groups are held at private homes on a Saturday or Sunday, and we encourage a rotation system for hosting the meetings.

Women’s Life Groups

meeting times: varies by life group

Our Women’s Life Groups are designed to be a safe place for women of all walks of life and backgrounds to connect and share their lives by reflecting together on their walk with Jesus. There is something special that happens when women in different stages of life gather to help one another. The days and times our Women’s Life Groups meet varies from group to group.

Men’s Life Group

meeting times: wednesdays, 8pm

Men’s Life group is a unique and safe place for men to come together to sharpen each other so we can grow together into the image of Christ. This is a setting where Christian men can openly discuss the issues of the world and our everyday lives and learn what God’s will for each of us is in our lives in a manner that only men can do in the company of other men. If there are any special requests for discipleship or mentorship, separate arrangements can be made.

College Life Group

Meeting times: sundays, 4pm

The college-age season is a time when an individual can experience great ranges of development socially, emotionally. mentally, and spiritually. As exciting as this can be, this period can also be very difficult and especially when one faces this range of change, alone. Thus, the value of this College Life Group for this gathering is here so there can be both peer and pastoral support while navigating through this potentially turbulent stretch of life, while also forming lasting friendships as fellow believers.
