Encourage One Another Today

“Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called ‘Today’, so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin”.  – Hebrews 3:12-13.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another-and all the more as you see the Day approaching”.- Hebrews 10:24-25

Hebrews 3:13 highlights the importance of encouragement in the daily battle we all face with sin. In the fallen world we live in, sin is all around us and it is easy to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. When someone is alongside you it provides energy and supports you to be steadfast in your faith. We can all make a difference in someone else’s life by being sensitive to their needs, and offering words of encouragement.

With heightened COVID restrictions again in Seoul, it has become harder again to spend time with our brothers and sisters in Christ within our community, which makes being intentional to encourage one another even more important. This week think about who you can encourage. It may only take a few seconds to give words of encouragement to someone else, but the power of that encouragement can be immense.

Blessings, Love and Encouragement to you all in this week ahead.
