Go Out Without Knowing

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.  Hebrews 11:8

Often times our faith requires us to go to a place that is uncertain and not clear until we take that leap of faith fully trusting in the LORD.  In one of Oswald Chambers devotions, he offers this thought when going out without knowing, “You do not know what you are going to do; the only thing you know is that God knows what He is doing. Have you been asking God what He is going to do? He will never tell you. God does not tell you what He is going to do; He reveals to you Who He is.”

Once God gives us revelation and reveals to us who He is, (Faithful Father, Good Shepherd, Trustworthy Provider, God Emmanuel)… it doesn’t matter what the circumstance is or where we go.  As long as we know and trust and believe who our God is and that He is abiding with us, everything will be alright.

In light of the recent messages on “RISK,” what are areas of your life that you feel are needing a leap of faith to enter into the greater things of God this near year 2015?
