Just Remember the Gospel Today!

Hi everyone,

In light of the message that was shared yesterday ( Titled, “Just Remember the Gospel Everyday”), through today’s devotion, I wanted to encourage everyone to “Just Remember the Gospel Today!”

So let’s begin this day meditating simply on how much God love us. That while we were yet sinners, God demonstrated His love for us by sending His one and only Son to die on the cross to pay for our debt of sin so that not only can we be forgiven of our sin, but given the gift of eternal life- to be included in the very quality of life that God has and is! To not only be forgiven and saved, but to now be called sons and daughters of God Most High, CO-HEIRS with Jesus!?!?! Yes, this is the truth that indeed sets us free. PTL!!!!

So don’t’ go anywhere! Just stay, and meditate, and remain in this posture of humility, reverence, thankfulness, and awe of Jesus until you’re filled up with a fresh revelation of the love of God for you! Give Jesus the worship that only He is worthy of cause ain’t NO ONE loved you nor can love you like Jesus loves you! Let the joy of salvation be your strength so that both He and we will be pleased to commune together this day through the indwelling of the Spirit of God in us.

In such we can be confident that:

a)     That we will be sensitive to the leadership of the Holy Spirit to guide and empower us to love and serve others as Christ loved and serve us, thus giving glory to God.

Not to mention that through this kind of devotion:

b)    That we will surely be building a true, and authentic, and vibrant relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Again, PTL!!!

To help us in our devotion, I have included the lyrics of one of my fav praise songs these days along with a youtube link so you can listen to the music and follow along with/be ministered by the lyrics. I think this song captures well, the essence of what I just shared. The song is by Hillsong and is called, “Man of Sorrows.” I hope it is a blessing to you!

With Love.

“Man Of Sorrows”

Man of sorrows Lamb of God

By His own betrayed

The sin of man and wrath of God

Has been on Jesus laid

Silent as He stood accused

Beaten mocked and scorned

Bowing to the Father’s will

He took a crown of thorns

Oh that rugged cross

My salvation

Where Your love poured out over me

Now my soul cries out

Praise and honour unto Thee

Sent of heaven God’s own Son

To purchase and redeem

And reconcile the very ones

Who nailed Him to that tree

Now my debt is paid

It is paid in full

By the precious blood

That my Jesus spilled

Now the curse of sin

Has no hold on me

Whom the Son sets free

Oh is free indeed

See the stone is rolled away

Behold the empty tomb

Hallelujah God be praised

He’s risen from the grave
