Stretching our Spiritual Muscles

Hello, friends!

Committing to a routine of spiritual disciplines is likened to exercise for our physical bodies. In the beginning, our bodies feel stretched, sore, and we experience some pain. Eventually, our muscles adapt and strength builds to the point where we need to step up our routine to advance our physical health. Spiritual disciplines have that same sort of trajectory, and committed practice produces fruit that is life giving.
