13 Apr: DEFINITELY the People, NOT the Building!

There are some silver linings in this pandemic, one being us able to see more clearly what is truly essential for our lives compared to what may not be as essential as we thought. If there ever was a doubt, I believe that there isn’t one now. The people of God gathering regularly to worship the Lord together is essential. Now I’m very grateful for technology to hold us over but I think we can all attest to the fact that virtual services are not, nor can ever be, anything more than a placeholder.

30 Mar: An Update from the Chuns (Jubilee Missionaries)

Hi Jubilee Church!
We just wanted to give you a quick update on the past few weeks since we left Korea. We were in Vancouver for two weeks to see Victor’s family and friends and also celebrate Shiloh’s 100 days (dol in Korean). It was definitely a culture shock to see such wide streets and smell fresh air again! Besides meeting family we were also able to connect with some former Jubilee members. It was great knowing that we have Jubilee family all around the world!

15 Feb: Life-Giving Small Groups

We just launched a new semester of small groups (BSF) this past Sunday.  When our BSF leaders gathered for the first training I shared from Acts 2:42-47 highlighting 7 healthy attributes that we can draw from the early church.  As I expound on these qualities from the passage I pray that small groups at Jubilee church will embody these qualities more and more.
