Myeongdong, the Heart of Seoul

We are currently in our 3rd location since starting our community in 2006 (Yeoksam from 2006-2009, Sinsa from 2010- 2019). Looking back, each of these locations were perfect for us to grow as a community in the seasons that we were in at those times. The fact that we survived our move to Myeongdong, as we moved just before the Covid Pandemic started, gives us confidence all the more to be sure that we are here by God’s providence to serve His purposes here from the heart of Seoul

Remembering and celebrating Jesus together

We gather together each week to turn our hearts to remember the love that Jesus has for us, to then turn our hearts in love back towards Him as well as to turn that love we have for Jesus towards each other. Doing such is one of our main commitments as Christians so that we can be both encouraged and equipped through the help of one another to press on in sharing the love of God to beyond our walls.

We trust that when you attend our Sunday services here at Jubilee, you will have the opportunity to experience a time of genuine praise, sound teaching, and opportunities to connect and grow with one another as fellow believers in Jesus. As an English-speaking church in Seoul, we are happy to welcome people from all nations as well as from various denominational backgrounds.

We believe that there is hardly a greater responsibility than ministry to the children of our community for what they learn during these years will be foundational for the whole of their lives. Therefore, we are committed to teaching them the truths and love of Jesus through both word and deed.

The season of life that we call “Youth” is critical in shaping a person’s view of themselves and the world they live in. Therefore, we are committed to addressing issues relevant to each age range from a Christ-centered perspective that they may be as best equipped as possible to navigate as best as they can, their various experiences as middle and high school students. A time of corporate worship as well as small groups are part of their Sunday service experience.

More Opportunities to Connect

Gathering more than once a week can be a great help towards strengthening our faith in Jesus as well as growing our capacity to care for one another in Christ. Therefore, we provide opportunities to do this on both Wednesday and Friday nights, each week.
